I am really happy and exited to let you know, that I am returning this Spring with my sixth studio album, Heartshaped, on April 17th, 2026! It was a dream come true to record these songs in New York with Aaron Parks - piano, Thomas Morgan - double bass & Jongkuk Kim - drums. Three absolutely amazing musicians and human beings! I am so grateful that they wanted to share their spirits and artistry with me.
The songs have roots reaching back about little over a decade now and explores ideas of connection, impermanence, and attentiveness — to oneself, to others, and to the natural world.
The 1st single, Big Heart, will be released in two weeks - on Saturday Feb 14 (Valentine´s Day), but you can already preserve it now here: https://lillyhertzman.lnk.to/BigHeart
Here’s a little info about it: Big Heart is a Valentine “card” for someone close to your heart, but not around in your life anymore. It´s being released as an act of commemoration which is the original meaning of the day. The title was literally inspired by the heart of my father who was hospitalized and passed away with an enlarged heart with difficulty pumping blood around.
I will update more again soon, but I can already let you know that the 2nd single, Revelation, will be released on March 20th… and the color layer above the actual album cover will have another color than red…uh! ;-) So stay tuned!
