The Calling, is a song about waking up in the middle of the night not able to go back to sleep - with an inner urge calling you to listen and follow what your heart knows and is telling you. It´s a kind of slow blues, to some degree inspired by some of John Coltrane´s work with pianist McCoy Tyner, that drew my attention already in my early youth.
